Years ago, when I found out my Greek landlord’s family farmed olive groves in their native village in Crete, I begged him to get me some for my restaurants (Garde Manger & Le Bremner) and we’ve been devouring it ever since. This sun-drenched beauty is amazing; honestly, it’s liquid gold! Use liberally on everything and for cooking. Keep in a dark and cool place.

Being Italian and raised by my Italian grandparents, cooking and curing was ingrained in my DNA. Like many Italians, the Cantina is the heart of the house and my personal favorite room. I can still remember it like it was yesterday, preparing and curing many, MANY different meats and cheeses, proudly hanging them- waiting so impatiently for when they were ready. It was usually served for Sunday late lunch with fresh bread, olive oil and peppers. Unfortunately, that tradition is no longer in my family and I have been forced to search high and low for that unmistakable, unremarkable taste. After many years searching, I have finally found someone that not only resembles my grandmothers cold cuts but blows it out of the park with the exact same taste, textures and quality!!!! Everything we have ordered has been amazing! The prosciutto. sopressata, sausages, cheeses, etc... are all delicious. You should order, you won't be disappointed! Tastes just like my dad used to make!

This is another great product from Johnny Prosciutto! They taste so good! I was hesitant in trying them because I've never tried rapini in sausage before. These a really delicious! We'll be buying more for sure.
